![]() ![]() Remember to check columns and rows to see if they have ones. ![]() If you can't rule it down to just one then skip that box and move to the next. Check each of the boxes to make sure it has a 1 and if it doesn't see if you can use the process of elimination to rule it down to only one space the one could go. Sometimes I just go through each of the numbers. Use the process of elimination to rule out where numbers would be able to go. For instance, I did my middle box third, and then I ended up with double numbers for my bottom left box even though I checked my middle box and I had all the numbers 1-9 in every box, row, and column. The middle box is what everything connects to. If you do it anytime before that then you can end up with double numbers. ![]() Check after doing each of the Sudoku puzzles (because there are 5 and if you get just one of the boxes wrong you could affect all 5. Also check each of the 9 rows and columns to make sure they have the numbers 1-9. Check to make sure the numbers 1-9 are in each of the 9 small boxes that make up the large square (there are 9 boxes consisting of 9 cubes in each 3x3) for every Sudoku. Here are some helpful tips if you're having trouble with Sudoku (master or regular). The reason I was having trouble was because I did the top left, top right, and then the middle and I found out that you have to do the middle last. I recently had a little trouble solving the master Sudoku puzzle that George sent me but I solved it. It is one of my favorite math games and I've played/known about it before Nancy Drew. I consider myself fairly good at the game Sudoku. ![]()
